LanTV Recorder is designed for centralized recording of broadcast content received through the LanTV infrastructure.
The Recorder receives streams over the network and saves them as files to storage.
Actual recording capacity depends on infrastructure throughput and is directly related to available bandwidth, storage capacity, and storage performance. With sufficient network bandwidth and storage, the system can record hundreds of TV and radio channels simultaneously. The software is designed for continuous operation and high stream counts, and supports direct-attached storage (DAS) as well as network storage (NAS and SAN).
Other features include advanced scheduling, automatic deletion, pre- and post-recording scripts, customizable recording filenames, and support for both the Solar Hijri and Gregorian calendars.
