Client Software
The LanTV Client provides the user interface for accessing LanTV network television. It lets users watch channels delivered by a LanTV server on PCs connected to the network.
Users do not need a separate television set; they can use their computer as a TV.
Because DVB content remains digital and is transported over the network without being re-encoded, picture quality is preserved. If the system administrator grants recording permission, users can record a channel directly on their PC. LanTV Client runs on Windows computers.
Users can watch only the channels they are authorized to access. Only one instance of the application can run on each computer, helping prevent unauthorized use and unnecessary system load.
