Client, Videowall, Recorder, and Android applications
LanTV is more than a TV reception and distribution device. It includes a suite of applications for users and administrators, each providing a different part of the solution. LanTV Client, Videowall, Recorder, and the Android app work together to support viewing, simultaneous display, recording, and access to TV services across different environments.
LanTV Client lets users watch TV channels on a computer. Users connect to the LanTV service over the network and view the channels available to them. This lets existing computers serve as TV viewing endpoints, without requiring a dedicated TV receiver for every user.
LanTV Videowall is designed to display many channels and video sources in one place. Multiple feeds can be arranged across displays in a configurable layout to create a software-based video wall. This is especially useful in environments that need to monitor many channels simultaneously.
LanTV Recorder lets users record selected channels. Recording can be configured to suit the system architecture and the organization’s requirements. Alongside centralized recording, the solution can use computer resources and available storage to retain recorded content.
LanTV Android App provides access to the TV service on Android devices. In addition to computers and video-wall environments, users can watch the service on Android-based equipment.
Together, these applications cover a range of viewing, monitoring, video-wall, recording, and channel-access requirements in one integrated suite, reducing reliance on multiple dedicated devices.
