Solution architecture
The LanTV solution consists of a LanTV or OfficeTV server connected to the network on one side and satellite reception equipment or a terrestrial antenna on the other, together with a suite of management and client applications.
These applications let users watch radio and TV on computers and Android devices, as well as record and replay channels. Together, they provide the foundation for network-based MATV (Master Antenna Television) and centralized monitoring.

LanTV Server is the core of the solution. It receives multiple DVB frequencies carrying satellite and terrestrial radio and TV channels, then streams them over the network in response to user requests.
The device also hosts the databases used by the solution, including user and channel information.

OfficeTV is a compact version of LanTV. It offers the LanTV feature set but does not have satellite inputs.
OfficeTV is designed for public-relations and centralized-monitoring environments that only need terrestrial TV reception. It has a four-frequency DVB-T2 terrestrial input and can record up to 20 TV channels simultaneously to its internal hard drive.

LanTV and OfficeTV are managed through a suite of web-based applications. These applications make it easy to manage multiple devices from a single location.
Administrators can use the applications to configure channels, define who can access them and how, and review both the current system status and historical status information.

LanTV Client lets users watch the TV channels assigned to them from their computers, record them, or take screenshots.
This client application is intended for end users and brings TV viewing to their computers.

LanTV Videowall is a software-based videowall solution. By connecting multiple large displays to a computer, users can create videowalls with a custom number and arrangement of viewing windows.
These videowalls can be used in monitoring rooms to monitor many channels, or in management offices and reception areas as part of the decor.

LanTV Recorder provides centralized recording for the LanTV solution. It can record many radio and TV channels simultaneously according to a schedule.
Recorder makes it easy to set up a comprehensive monitoring service and share recorded files over the network for review, content extraction, or reuse.

The Android client provides access to LanTV from Android devices, particularly Android TVs and set-top boxes.
It is suitable for locations where installing or using a computer is impractical or undesirable, such as executive rooms and other areas that require a standalone display.

Xendure is not part of the LanTV architecture, but the two products are often used together in IDEANO’s TV and satellite monitoring solutions.
Xendure is an advanced storage system built on a distributed, parallel storage architecture. It supports capacities ranging from hundreds to hundreds of thousands of terabytes, with features such as combining different hardware and disk types, assigning different protection levels to different files, and end-to-end protection with checksums. These capabilities make it an ideal option for long-term recording of radio and TV channels.
